This Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) program helps you to understand and change unhelpful thinking that may be negatively affecting your day-to-day life. CBT deals with the ‘here and now’ - how your current thoughts and behaviour affects you, now.
Maintaining Wellness
This program uses an open discussion based forum, and each topic uses a combination of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) approaches. The aim is for you to achieve wellness and cope with your mental health issues. Goal setting allows you to practice skills from the session and provide feedback the following week.
